He could be coming specifically to Silicon Valley to show he wants big technology companies to become more efficient. Or he's supporting the steps in efficiency in Silicon Valley. Showing support for the energy efficiency movement since it's a big event for the president to go to such a public place. Maybe there is an entirely different scheme played by Walmart to show it has major support of the president(idea from comments to the website). Whatever the reason for Obama to talk at Walmart there is always a indirect gesture he is sending to people very important to the country.
I'm glad you posted about this, its cool that the president is going to be in our community. Today the traffic was very slow due to secret service closing some roads, and watch out because tomorrow will probably be even worse. It will be interesting to see how the president's visit will effect our community.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that there's a tight security around the president. It's great that the security system greatly improved since the multiple presidential assassinations, especially the Kennedy Assassination.
